Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A Promenade In The Country by Willem Bodeman was sold in the Pictures Watercolours and Drawings auction at Christies in Amsterdam in June 2005. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 3,360.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Willem Bodeman have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Dutch a Winter Landscape With Woodgatherers On The Ice in June 2011 with an auction result of EUR 24,750.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit A Promenade In The Country von Willem Bodeman wurde im Juni 2005 in der Auktion Pictures Watercolours and Drawings bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 3.360,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Willem Bodeman auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Dutch a Winter Landscape With Woodgatherers On The Ice im Juni 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 24.750,00.
