Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2006 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings, which included the work Cattle in a forest by Willem Bodeman. The price achieved of EUR 5,040.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Willem Bodeman have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Dutch a Winter Landscape With Woodgatherers On The Ice in June 2011 with an auction result of EUR 24,750.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September 2006 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Cattle in a forest von Willem Bodeman zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 5.040,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Willem Bodeman auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Dutch a Winter Landscape With Woodgatherers On The Ice im Juni 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 24.750,00.
