Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Ohne Titel by Wilhelm von Gloeden was auctioned at Lempertz in Cologne in June last year. It achieved a price of EUR 1,764.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 18 %. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wilhelm von Gloeden achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sicilian Youths, Taormina, C.1901 in May 2005 with an auction result of GBP 14,400.00 (€ 21,258.92).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Ohne Titel von Wilhelm von Gloeden kam im Juni letzten Jahres bei Lempertz in Köln zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 1.764,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 18 %. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wilhelm von Gloeden erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sicilian Youths, Taormina, C.1901 im Mai 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 14.400,00 (€ 21.258,92).
