Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Wilhelm von Gegerfelt could be acquired at Bukowski in Stockholm in June 2020 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Important Spring Sale auction, the work Tide in Brittany changed hands for SEK 26,000.00 (€ 2,486.33) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. Admittedly, works by Wilhelm von Gegerfelt have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A market on the edge of the lagoon, Venice in April 2000 with an auction result of GBP 7,050.00 (€ 12,069.31).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Wilhelm von Gegerfelt konnte im Juni 2020 bei Bukowski in Stockholm für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Important Spring Sale wechselte die Arbeit Tide in Brittany für SEK 26.000,00 (€ 2.486,33) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 30.000,00 – 40.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Wilhelm von Gegerfelt auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A market on the edge of the lagoon, Venice im April 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 7.050,00 (€ 12.069,31).
