The work "Cioggia" by Wilhelm von Gegerfelt was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in June 2021. It achieved a price of SEK 55,000.00 (€ 5,422.01), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 38%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Wilhelm von Gegerfelt - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A market on the edge of the lagoon, Venice, which sold at auction in April 2000 for GBP 7,050.00 (€ 12,069.31).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 38 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit "Cioggia" von Wilhelm von Gegerfelt kam im Juni 2021 bei Bukowski in Stockholm zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von SEK 55.000,00 (€ 5.422,01) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 38%. Für andere Arbeiten von Wilhelm von Gegerfelt mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit A market on the edge of the lagoon, Venice beobachtet, die im April 2000 für GBP 7.050,00 (€ 12.069,31) versteigert wurde.
