This artwork by Wilhelm von Gegerfelt achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bukowski in Stockholm in December last year. In the Important Winter Sale auction, the work Canals in Venice sold for SEK 50,000.00 (€ 4,482.15) - well above the upper estimate of SEK 25,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Wilhelm von Gegerfelt - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A market on the edge of the lagoon, Venice, which sold at auction in April 2000 for GBP 7,050.00 (€ 12,069.31).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 100 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Wilhelm von Gegerfelt erzielte im Dezember letzten Jahres bei Bukowski in Stockholm einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Important Winter Sale wurde die Arbeit Canals in Venice für SEK 50.000,00 (€ 4.482,15) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von SEK 25.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Wilhelm von Gegerfelt mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit A market on the edge of the lagoon, Venice beobachtet, die im April 2000 für GBP 7.050,00 (€ 12.069,31) versteigert wurde.
