Auction result misses estimated price range
In March 2013 a collector was able to acquire the work Standing Female Nude, In Three Positions by Wilfrid de Glehn for GBP 1,000.00 (€ 1,185.47). This price was achieved in the auction Victorian & British Impressionist Art at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 1,200.00 – 1,800.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wilfrid de Glehn achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Under the Willows in May 2005 with an auction result of USD 352,000.00 (€ 285,043.32).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im März 2013 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Standing Female Nude, In Three Positions von Wilfrid de Glehn für GBP 1.000,00 (€ 1.185,47) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Victorian & British Impressionist Art bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.200,00 – 1.800,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wilfrid de Glehn erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Under the Willows im Mai 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 352.000,00 (€ 285.043,32).
