This artwork by Wilfred Jenkins achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in June 2001. In the BRITISH & VICTORIAN PICTURES auction, the work Evening Glow sold for GBP 940.00 (€ 1,561.53) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wilfred Jenkins achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Figures on the corner of a moonlit street; and Figures on a moonlit lane in March 2000 with an auction result of GBP 12,075.00 (€ 20,081.28).

Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Figures on the corner of a moonlit street; and Figures on a moonlit lane im März 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 12.075,00 (€ 20.081,28).
