The work Ça va mal by Wilfredo Lam was auctioned at Christies in June last year. It achieved a price of EUR 52,920.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 32 %. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wilfredo Lam achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Omi Obini in June 2020 with an auction result of USD 9,603,800.00 (€ 8,551,153.06).

Die Arbeit Ça va mal von Wilfredo Lam kam im Juni letzten Jahres bei Christies zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 52.920,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 32 %. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wilfredo Lam erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Omi Obini im Juni 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 9.603.800,00 (€ 8.551.153,06).
