Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Rijks H.B.S. Willem II Gebäude, Tilburg by Werner Mantz was auctioned at Phillips in New York in October 2017. The price achieved of USD 12,500.00 (€ 10,731.46) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Werner Mantz have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Haus der Kölnischen Zeitung auf der Internationalen Presse-Ausstellung 'Pressa' bei Nacht, Köln. in July 2020 with an auction result of EUR 47,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Rijks H.B.S. Willem II Gebäude, Tilburg von Werner Mantz kam im Oktober 2017 bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 12.500,00 (€ 10.731,46) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Werner Mantz auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Haus der Kölnischen Zeitung auf der Internationalen Presse-Ausstellung 'Pressa' bei Nacht, Köln. im Juli 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 47.500,00.
