The work 'Untitled', 1934 by Werner Bischof was auctioned at Sothebys in London in May 2017. The result of GBP 3,000.00 (€ 3,445.62) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Werner Bischof - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work White Paper-Roll, Negative Et White Paper-Roll, Positive , 1938, which sold at auction in November 2015 for EUR 8,750.00.
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit 'Untitled', 1934 von Werner Bischof kam im Mai 2017 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 3.000,00 (€ 3.445,62) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Werner Bischof mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit White Paper-Roll, Negative Et White Paper-Roll, Positive , 1938 beobachtet, die im November 2015 für EUR 8.750,00 versteigert wurde.
