Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Flute Player, Cuzco, Peru by Werner Bischof was sold in the Discovery on Madison Online auction at Bonhams in February this year. The price achieved of USD 828.75 (€ 781.69) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 750.00 – 1,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Werner Bischof achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work White Paper-Roll, Negative Et White Paper-Roll, Positive , 1938 in November 2015 with an auction result of EUR 8,750.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Flute Player, Cuzco, Peru von Werner Bischof wurde im Februar diesen Jahres in der Auktion Discovery on Madison Online bei Bonhams versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 828,75 (€ 781,69) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 750,00 – 1.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Werner Bischof erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit White Paper-Roll, Negative Et White Paper-Roll, Positive , 1938 im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 8.750,00.
