Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Lotus And Fishes by Weng Luo was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy II auction at POLY in April 2018. The price achieved of HKD 35,400.00 (€ 3,735.27) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Admittedly, works by Weng Luo have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Flowers and Birds in Four Seasons in November 2012 with an auction result of HKD 325,000.00 (€ 32,225.21).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Lotus And Fishes von Weng Luo wurde im April 2018 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy II bei POLY versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 35.400,00 (€ 3.735,27) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Weng Luo auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Flowers and Birds in Four Seasons im November 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 325.000,00 (€ 32.225,21).
