Auction result well in line with expectations
In November this year POLY held the auction Paintings preserved by significant Hong Kong collectors III, which included the work Turtles And Bamboo by Weng Luo. The price achieved of HKD 6,000.00 (€ 704.07) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 5,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Weng Luo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Flowers and Birds in Four Seasons in November 2012 with an auction result of HKD 325,000.00 (€ 32,225.21).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November diesen Jahres führte POLY die Auktion Paintings preserved by significant Hong Kong collectors III durch, in der auch die Arbeit Turtles And Bamboo von Weng Luo zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 6.000,00 (€ 704,07) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 5.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Weng Luo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Flowers and Birds in Four Seasons im November 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 325.000,00 (€ 32.225,21).
