This artwork by Weng Luo achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in New York in September 2013. In the Fine Classical Chinese Paintings and Cal auction, the work Flower And Birds sold for USD 9,375.00 (€ 6,926.49) - well above the upper estimate of USD 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Weng Luo have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Flowers and Birds in Four Seasons in November 2012 with an auction result of HKD 325,000.00 (€ 32,225.21).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Weng Luo erzielte im September 2013 bei Sothebys in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings and Cal wurde die Arbeit Flower And Birds für USD 9.375,00 (€ 6.926,49) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 5.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Weng Luo auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Flowers and Birds in Four Seasons im November 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 325.000,00 (€ 32.225,21).
