The work Orchids And Butterfly by Wen Shu was worth HKD 352,800.00 (€ 37,772.77) to a buyer in April 2021. This price was achieved in the auction Fine Classical Chinese Paintings at Sothebys in Hong Kong and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of HKD 30,000.00 many times over. Admittedly, works by Wen Shu have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Rising Early In Spring To Lament Flowers in September 2015 with an auction result of USD 413,000.00 (€ 370,005.38).

Die Arbeit Orchids And Butterfly von Wen Shu war einem Käufer im April 2021 HKD 352.800,00 (€ 37.772,77) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings bei Sothebys in Hong Kong erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 30.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Wen Shu auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Rising Early In Spring To Lament Flowers im September 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 413.000,00 (€ 370.005,38).
