Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2013 POLY in Hong Kong held the auction Classical Chinese Paintings And Calligraphy, which included the work Landscape by Wen Jia. It changed hands for a price of HKD 172,500.00 (€ 16,885.82) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 150,000.00 – 180,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wen Jia achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Thatched Cottage In The Southern Village (Nancun Caotang Tu), After Wang Meng in March 2012 with an auction result of USD 5,122,500.00 (€ 3,841,682.92).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2013 führte POLY in Hong Kong die Auktion Classical Chinese Paintings And Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Landscape von Wen Jia zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 172.500,00 (€ 16.885,82) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 150.000,00 – 180.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wen Jia erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Thatched Cottage In The Southern Village (Nancun Caotang Tu), After Wang Meng im März 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 5.122.500,00 (€ 3.841.682,92).
