It achieved a price of HKD 129,800.00 (€ 13,363.29), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 30%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wen Jia achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Thatched Cottage In The Southern Village (Nancun Caotang Tu), After Wang Meng in March 2012 with an auction result of USD 5,122,500.00 (€ 3,841,682.92).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 30 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Calligraphy In Running Script von Wen Jia kam im Oktober 2014 bei POLY in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 129.800,00 (€ 13.363,29) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 30%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wen Jia erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Thatched Cottage In The Southern Village (Nancun Caotang Tu), After Wang Meng im März 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 5.122.500,00 (€ 3.841.682,92).
