A top price for Wen Boren
The work Resting in the Verdant Mountain by Wen Boren was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in December this year. It achieved a price of HKD 1,638,000.00 (€ 189,535.35), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 37%. With this result, Resting in the Verdant Mountain is even the most expensive work of art by Wen Boren that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Resting in the Verdant Mountain von Wen Boren kam im Dezember diesen Jahres bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 1.638.000,00 (€ 189.535,35) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 37%. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist Resting in the Verdant Mountain sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Wen Boren, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
