The work One Of The Tributes Of Memory by Wei Qingji was auctioned at POLY in Hong Kong in April 2015. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 200,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 224,200.00 (€ 25,910.95). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Wei Qingji - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Mickey 3, which sold at auction in March 2015 for HKD 525,000.00 (€ 63,052.79).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit One Of The Tributes Of Memory von Wei Qingji kam im April 2015 bei POLY in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 200.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 224.200,00 (€ 25.910,95) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Wei Qingji mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Mickey 3 beobachtet, die im März 2015 für HKD 525.000,00 (€ 63.052,79) versteigert wurde.
