Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Attributes Of Daily Life No. 16 by Wei Qingji was auctioned at Sothebys in Beijing in June 2015. The price achieved of CNY 94,400.00 (€ 13,651.35) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as CNY 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. Admittedly, works by Wei Qingji have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Mickey 3 in March 2015 with an auction result of HKD 525,000.00 (€ 63,052.79).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von CNY 94.400,00 (€ 13.651,35) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit CNY 80.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Wei Qingji auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Mickey 3 im März 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 525.000,00 (€ 63.052,79).
