In June 2015 Christies in Paris held the auction Art d'Asie, which included the work MONTAGNES PARADISIAQUES, ENCRE ET COULEUR SUR PAPIER by Wang Zhuan. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 10,625.00 33% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wang Zhuan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landscapes in September 2016 with an auction result of USD 225,000.00 (€ 200,213.56).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 33 % übertroffen
Im Juni 2015 führte Christies in Paris die Auktion Art d'Asie durch, in der auch die Arbeit MONTAGNES PARADISIAQUES, ENCRE ET COULEUR SUR PAPIER von Wang Zhuan zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 10.625,00 und damit 33% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wang Zhuan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Landscapes im September 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 225.000,00 (€ 200.213,56).
