Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Four Poems in Small Standard Script by Wang Zhuan was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2019. The price achieved of HKD 37,500.00 (€ 4,349.31) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wang Zhuan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landscapes in September 2016 with an auction result of USD 225,000.00 (€ 200,213.56).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Four Poems in Small Standard Script von Wang Zhuan kam im November 2019 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 37.500,00 (€ 4.349,31) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wang Zhuan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Landscapes im September 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 225.000,00 (€ 200.213,56).
