Auction result well in line with expectations
In July last year POLY in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy, which included the work Landscape In Ink by Wang Zhuan. The price achieved of HKD 38,400.00 (€ 4,791.53) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 30,000.00 – 60,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wang Zhuan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landscapes in September 2016 with an auction result of USD 225,000.00 (€ 200,213.56).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli letzten Jahres führte POLY in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Landscape In Ink von Wang Zhuan zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 38.400,00 (€ 4.791,53) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 30.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wang Zhuan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Landscapes im September 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 225.000,00 (€ 200.213,56).
