The work Waiting For The Ferry by Wang Yun was sold in the Fine Classical Chinese Paintings auction at Sothebys in New York in March 2012. The result of USD 15,000.00 (€ 11,249.44) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wang Yun achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Figure Landscape in April 2013 with an auction result of HKD 2,185,000.00 (€ 213,887.07).

Die Arbeit Waiting For The Ferry von Wang Yun wurde im März 2012 in der Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 15.000,00 (€ 11.249,44) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wang Yun erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Figure Landscape im April 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.185.000,00 (€ 213.887,07).
