This artwork by Wang Yun achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2014. In the Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy auction, the work Travelling in Autumn sold for HKD 162,500.00 (€ 15,368.40) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 80,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wang Yun achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Figure Landscape in April 2013 with an auction result of HKD 2,185,000.00 (€ 213,887.07).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Wang Yun erzielte im Mai 2014 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy wurde die Arbeit Travelling in Autumn für HKD 162.500,00 (€ 15.368,40) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 80.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wang Yun erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Figure Landscape im April 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.185.000,00 (€ 213.887,07).
