Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Landscape by Wang Yun was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in September 2016. The price achieved of USD 9,375.00 (€ 8,342.23) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wang Yun achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Figure Landscape in April 2013 with an auction result of HKD 2,185,000.00 (€ 213,887.07).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Landscape von Wang Yun kam im September 2016 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 9.375,00 (€ 8.342,23) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wang Yun erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Figure Landscape im April 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.185.000,00 (€ 213.887,07).
