Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2019 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Contemporary Art, which included this untitled work by Wang Yin. The price achieved of HKD 150,000.00 (€ 17,074.37) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 120,000.00 – 180,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wang Yin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in April 2021 with an auction result of HKD 3,840,000.00 (€ 411,132.17).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2019 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Contemporary Art durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Wang Yin zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 150.000,00 (€ 17.074,37) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 120.000,00 – 180.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wang Yin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im April 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.840.000,00 (€ 411.132,17).
