Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2019 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Contemporary Art Evening Sale, which included the work Birthday Ii by Wang Yin. The price achieved of HKD 2,250,000.00 (€ 256,115.53) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 1,800,000.00 – 2,800,000.00. Other works by Wang Yin have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April 2021 the work without title was auctioned for HKD 3,840,000.00 (€ 411,132.17).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2019 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Contemporary Art Evening Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Birthday Ii von Wang Yin zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 2.250.000,00 (€ 256.115,53) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 1.800.000,00 – 2.800.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Wang Yin konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im April 2021 die Arbeit ohne Titel für HKD 3.840.000,00 (€ 411.132,17) versteigert.
