Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Gas Station No. 2 (Painted In 2011) by Wang Yin was auctioned at China Guardian in October 2021. The price achieved of HKD 1,176,000.00 (€ 130,813.71) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 900,000.00 – 1,300,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Wang Yin - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in April 2021 for HKD 3,840,000.00 (€ 411,132.17).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Gas Station No. 2 (Painted In 2011) von Wang Yin kam im Oktober 2021 bei China Guardian zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 1.176.000,00 (€ 130.813,71) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 900.000,00 – 1.300.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Wang Yin mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im April 2021 für HKD 3.840.000,00 (€ 411.132,17) versteigert wurde.
