Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In July last year POLY in Hong Kong held the auction Modern and Contemporary Art Day Sale, which included this untitled work by Wang Yin. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 216,000.00 (€ 26,952.36), 20% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wang Yin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in April 2021 with an auction result of HKD 3,840,000.00 (€ 411,132.17).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juli letzten Jahres führte POLY in Hong Kong die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art Day Sale durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Wang Yin zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 216.000,00 (€ 26.952,36) und damit 20% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wang Yin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im April 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.840.000,00 (€ 411.132,17).
