Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2015 POLY in Hong Kong held the auction Chinese and Asian Modern and Contemporary Art, which included the work Flowers by Wang Yin. The price achieved of HKD 1,062,000.00 (€ 124,069.91) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 900,000.00 – 1,500,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Wang Yin - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in April 2021 for HKD 3,840,000.00 (€ 411,132.17).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2015 führte POLY in Hong Kong die Auktion Chinese and Asian Modern and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Flowers von Wang Yin zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 1.062.000,00 (€ 124.069,91) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 900.000,00 – 1.500.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Wang Yin mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im April 2021 für HKD 3.840.000,00 (€ 411.132,17) versteigert wurde.
