Auction result well in line with expectations
In November this year POLY held the auction Paintings preserved by significant Hong Kong collectors III, which included the work Goldfishes by Wang Yachen. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 3,000.00 – 6,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 3,600.00 (€ 422.44) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wang Yachen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landscape in October 2013 with an auction result of HKD 1,725,000.00 (€ 163,693.54).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November diesen Jahres führte POLY die Auktion Paintings preserved by significant Hong Kong collectors III durch, in der auch die Arbeit Goldfishes von Wang Yachen zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 3.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 3.600,00 (€ 422,44) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wang Yachen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Landscape im Oktober 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.725.000,00 (€ 163.693,54).
