The work Goldfish by Wang Yachen was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in December last year. It achieved a price of HKD 16,380.00 (€ 1,962.91), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 64%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wang Yachen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landscape in October 2013 with an auction result of HKD 1,725,000.00 (€ 163,693.54).

Die Arbeit Goldfish von Wang Yachen kam im Dezember letzten Jahres bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 16.380,00 (€ 1.962,91) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 64%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wang Yachen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Landscape im Oktober 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.725.000,00 (€ 163.693,54).
