A top price for Wang Yachen - as previously expected
The work Landscape by Wang Yachen was sold in the Chinese Modern and Contemporary Art auction at POLY in Hong Kong in October 2013. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 1,500,000.00 – 2,500,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 1,725,000.00 (€ 163,693.54) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Landscape is the most expensive artwork by Wang Yachen that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Die Arbeit Landscape von Wang Yachen wurde im Oktober 2013 in der Auktion Chinese Modern and Contemporary Art bei POLY in Hong Kong versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 1.500.000,00 – 2.500.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 1.725.000,00 (€ 163.693,54) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Landscape das teuerste Kunstwerk von Wang Yachen, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
