Artwork auctioned at three times the upper estimate price
The work Goldfish in a pond by Wang Yachen was worth GBP 3,187.50 (€ 3,693.58) to a buyer in November last year. This price was achieved in the auction Asian Art at Bonhams in London and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of GBP 1,000.00 many times over. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wang Yachen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landscape in October 2013 with an auction result of HKD 1,725,000.00 (€ 163,693.54).

Die Arbeit Goldfish in a pond von Wang Yachen war einem Käufer im November letzten Jahres GBP 3.187,50 (€ 3.693,58) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Asian Art bei Bonhams in London erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 1.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wang Yachen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Landscape im Oktober 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.725.000,00 (€ 163.693,54).
