Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Various Objects by Wang Wu was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy II auction at POLY in Hong Kong in April 2017. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 400,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 448,400.00 (€ 52,927.25). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Wang Wu - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Album Of Flowers Paintings, which sold at auction in October 2013 for HKD 2,127,500.00 (€ 201,888.70).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Various Objects von Wang Wu wurde im April 2017 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy II bei POLY in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 400.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 448.400,00 (€ 52.927,25) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Wang Wu mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Album Of Flowers Paintings beobachtet, die im Oktober 2013 für HKD 2.127.500,00 (€ 201.888,70) versteigert wurde.
