Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Peach Blossoms by Wang Wu was sold in the Fine Classical Chinese Paintings & Calligraphy auction at Sothebys in New York in September 2014. The price achieved of USD 10,625.00 (€ 8,413.84) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wang Wu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Album Of Flowers Paintings in October 2013 with an auction result of HKD 2,127,500.00 (€ 201,888.70).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Peach Blossoms von Wang Wu wurde im September 2014 in der Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings & Calligraphy bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 10.625,00 (€ 8.413,84) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wang Wu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Album Of Flowers Paintings im Oktober 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.127.500,00 (€ 201.888,70).
