Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Crane And Pine by Wang Wu was sold in the FINE CLASSICAL CHINESE PAINTINGS AND CALLIGRAPHY auction at Christies in Hong Kong in October 2004. The price achieved of HKD 22,705.00 (€ 2,287.24) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wang Wu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Album Of Flowers Paintings in October 2013 with an auction result of HKD 2,127,500.00 (€ 201,888.70).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Crane And Pine von Wang Wu wurde im Oktober 2004 in der Auktion FINE CLASSICAL CHINESE PAINTINGS AND CALLIGRAPHY bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 22.705,00 (€ 2.287,24) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wang Wu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Album Of Flowers Paintings im Oktober 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.127.500,00 (€ 201.888,70).
