The work Crane and Pine by Wang Wu was worth HKD 212,500.00 (€ 22,136.85) to a buyer in May 2012. This price was achieved in the auction Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy at Christies in Hong Kong and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of HKD 50,000.00 many times over. Admittedly, works by Wang Wu have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Album Of Flowers Paintings in October 2013 with an auction result of HKD 2,127,500.00 (€ 201,888.70).

Die Arbeit Crane and Pine von Wang Wu war einem Käufer im Mai 2012 HKD 212.500,00 (€ 22.136,85) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy bei Christies in Hong Kong erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 50.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Wang Wu auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Album Of Flowers Paintings im Oktober 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.127.500,00 (€ 201.888,70).
