Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2016 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Modern Paintings, which included the work Lady Bathing by Wang Shuhui. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 100,000.00 – 200,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 125,000.00 (€ 15,232.09) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Wang Shuhui have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2015 the work Lady Under The Willow Tree was auctioned for HKD 137,500.00 (€ 16,063.67).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2016 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Modern Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Lady Bathing von Wang Shuhui zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 100.000,00 – 200.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 125.000,00 (€ 15.232,09) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Wang Shuhui konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Oktober 2015 die Arbeit Lady Under The Willow Tree für HKD 137.500,00 (€ 16.063,67) versteigert.
