Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Lady Under The Tung Tree by Wang Shuhui was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in July 2020. The price achieved of HKD 37,500.00 (€ 4,108.63) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Wang Shuhui - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Lady Under The Willow Tree, which sold at auction in October 2015 for HKD 137,500.00 (€ 16,063.67).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Lady Under The Tung Tree von Wang Shuhui wurde im Juli 2020 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 37.500,00 (€ 4.108,63) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Wang Shuhui mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Lady Under The Willow Tree beobachtet, die im Oktober 2015 für HKD 137.500,00 (€ 16.063,67) versteigert wurde.
