Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Lady Playing Harp by Wang Shuhui was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings auction at Christies in New York in March 2014. The price achieved of USD 6,250.00 (€ 4,536.55) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Wang Shuhui - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Lady Under The Willow Tree, which sold at auction in October 2015 for HKD 137,500.00 (€ 16,063.67).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Lady Playing Harp von Wang Shuhui wurde im März 2014 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings bei Christies in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 6.250,00 (€ 4.536,55) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Wang Shuhui mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Lady Under The Willow Tree beobachtet, die im Oktober 2015 für HKD 137.500,00 (€ 16.063,67) versteigert wurde.
