Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Lotus by Wang Mingming was auctioned at China Guardian in October last year. The price achieved of HKD 98,400.00 (€ 12,609.54) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 60,000.00 – 120,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wang Mingming achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Story Of Lanting in October 2017 with an auction result of HKD 10,902,500.00 (€ 1,199,948.92).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Lotus von Wang Mingming kam im Oktober letzten Jahres bei China Guardian zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 98.400,00 (€ 12.609,54) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 60.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wang Mingming erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Story Of Lanting im Oktober 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 10.902.500,00 (€ 1.199.948,92).
