Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Studying by the Lake, 1997 by Wang Mingming was sold in the Chinese Paintings-The Online sale auction at Bonhams in September this year. The price achieved of HKD 19,200.00 (€ 2,316.55) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 15,000.00 – 25,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wang Mingming achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Story Of Lanting in October 2017 with an auction result of HKD 10,902,500.00 (€ 1,199,948.92).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Studying by the Lake, 1997 von Wang Mingming wurde im September diesen Jahres in der Auktion Chinese Paintings-The Online sale bei Bonhams versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 19.200,00 (€ 2.316,55) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 15.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wang Mingming erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Story Of Lanting im Oktober 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 10.902.500,00 (€ 1.199.948,92).
