Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Plum Blossom And Magpie by Wang Li was auctioned at China Guardian in Hong Kong in May 2017. The price achieved of HKD 9,440.00 (€ 1,077.92) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wang Li achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Cranes By The Pine in October 2018 with an auction result of HKD 150,000.00 (€ 16,890.22).

Die Arbeit The Plum Blossom And Magpie von Wang Li kam im Mai 2017 bei China Guardian in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 9.440,00 (€ 1.077,92) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wang Li erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Cranes By The Pine im Oktober 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 150.000,00 (€ 16.890,22).
