Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Wang Li achieved an unexpectedly high price at China Guardian in Hong Kong in November 2016. In the Classical Chinese Painting and Calligraphy auction, the work Calligraphy, Flowers And Birds sold for HKD 25,960.00 (€ 3,163.40) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 10,000.00. Admittedly, works by Wang Li have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Cranes By The Pine in October 2018 with an auction result of HKD 150,000.00 (€ 16,890.22).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Wang Li erzielte im November 2016 bei China Guardian in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Classical Chinese Painting and Calligraphy wurde die Arbeit Calligraphy, Flowers And Birds für HKD 25.960,00 (€ 3.163,40) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 10.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Wang Li auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Cranes By The Pine im Oktober 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 150.000,00 (€ 16.890,22).
