FINE CHINESE PAINTINGS AND CALLIGRAPHY PREVIOUSLY IN THE COLLECTION OF JOHN LI 李東強先生舊藏古代及近現代書畫 LOTS 1-12 李東強（1931-2019），祖籍廣東番禺，生於香港。少時受波蘭籍神父繆仲素影響而結緣藝術，一九五六年，李東強入讀新亞書院藝術專科，主修西洋藝術，兼及中國文化美學、文學傳統。一九六二年他成為該系首屆畢業生之一，並留校任教。在校期間，李東強受教於丁衍庸、王己千等名師，師生同辦展覽，談藝論學，丁、王二人直至謝世前兩、三年，仍為李東強展覽作序，以茲獎掖。 本輯由家屬釋出的十二件藏品，其中丁衍庸

Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Wang Jiqian achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in Hong Kong in July 2020. In the Chinese Paintingsthe online sale auction, the work Landscape sold for HKD 35,625.00 (€ 3,903.20) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wang Jiqian achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landscape No. 472 in April 2017 with an auction result of HKD 2,980,000.00 (€ 351,746.67).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Wang Jiqian erzielte im Juli 2020 bei Bonhams in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Chinese Paintingsthe online sale wurde die Arbeit Landscape für HKD 35.625,00 (€ 3.903,20) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 15.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wang Jiqian erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Landscape No. 472 im April 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.980.000,00 (€ 351.746,67).
