Auction result well in line with expectations

The work One Child Policy No.18 & No.37（Two Pieces）(Painted In 1996) by Wang Jinsong was sold in the The Schoeni Family Collection auction at China Guardian in Hong Kong in October 2017. It changed hands for a price of HKD 44,840.00 (€ 4,935.17) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 25,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wang Jinsong achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Modern People (8 Panels) in October 2010 with an auction result of HKD 3,860,000.00 (€ 358,384.91).

Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen

Die Arbeit One Child Policy No.18 & No.37（Two Pieces）(Painted In 1996) von Wang Jinsong wurde im Oktober 2017 in der Auktion The Schoeni Family Collection bei China Guardian in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 44.840,00 (€ 4.935,17) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 25.000,00 – 50.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wang Jinsong erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Modern People (8 Panels) im Oktober 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.860.000,00 (€ 358.384,91).
