Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Flowers No.8 by Wang Jinsong was auctioned at POLY in August last year. The price achieved of HKD 59,000.00 (€ 7,468.06) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 50,000.00 – 80,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wang Jinsong achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Modern People (8 Panels) in October 2010 with an auction result of HKD 3,860,000.00 (€ 358,384.91).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Flowers No.8 von Wang Jinsong kam im August letzten Jahres bei POLY zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 59.000,00 (€ 7.468,06) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 50.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wang Jinsong erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Modern People (8 Panels) im Oktober 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.860.000,00 (€ 358.384,91).
